Abstract
Katuk is one of the many floras that grow on Indonesian soil, one of which is in the Pasuruan area. Katuk plants have many benefits for humans, including can be used as food ingredients in the form of vegetables and traditional medicines. Traditional uses of plants that emphasize the cultural relationship of the community with plant resources in their environment, directly or indirectly, are called ethno botany studies. This study aims to determine the public perception about aspects of knowledge, utilization and conservation strategies of katuk plants in Prigen District, Pasuruan Regency. This research uses descriptive qualitative method by conducting observations, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that as many as 42% of respondents used katuk in the field of food, 27% in the health sector, 19% as hedgerows, 12% in the economic field. The part of the katuk plant that is widely used is the leaf part. The distribution of katuk in Klataan sub-village consists of 11 points with a total of 63 individuals, and there are 10 points in Tonggowa sub-village with 49 individuals.

ABSTRAK
Katuk merupakan salah satu flora yang banyak tumbuh di tanah Indonesia, salah satunya di daerah Pasuruan. Tanaman katuk memiliki banyak manfaat bagi manusia, diantaranya dapat dijadikan sebagai bahan dasar makanan berupa sayur serta obat-obatan tradisional. Pemanfaatan tumbuhan secara tradisional yang menekankan pada hubungan budaya masyarakat dengan sumberdaya tumbuhan di lingkungannya baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung di sebut dengan kajian ilmu etnobotani. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi masyarakat tentang aspek pengetahuan, pemanfaatan dan strategi konservasi tanaman katuk di Kecamatan Prigen Kabupaten Pasuruan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan cara melakukan observasi, kuesioner, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebanyak 42 % responden memanfaatkan katuk dibidang pangan, 27 % bidang kesehatan, 19 % sebagai tanaman pagar, 12 % dibidang ekonomi. Bagian tanaman katuk yang banyak digunakan adalah bagian daun. Distribusi katuk di dusun Klataan terdapat 11 titik dengan jumlah 63 individu, dan di dusun Tonggowa terdapat 10 titik dengan jumlah 49 individu.
